In this video we show you how to install the optional Password Synchronization Add-on allowing you to migrate local and domain users including passwords.
Password Migration Add-On Installation
This short video shows you how to install CopyRight2's Password Migration Add-On onto a computer, in this case a Microsoft Windows 2003 R2 file server. After installing the add-on the corresponding option in the copy job definition is not grayed out anymore and can be enabled.
The add-on can be used to migrate passwords of local and Active Directory domain user accounts. The source and target computers do not necessarily need to have the same role, so you can for example use CopyRight2 to migrate an account from a system configured in workgroup mode to a system that is configured as domain member, or from a domain member to a system configured as a domain controller. Even a migration from a domain controller in domain A to a domain controller in domain B is possible and supported.

In the video CopyRight2 is installed on Windows 2003. You can install it the same way on any Windows version, Windows 2000 up to Windows 2019.
