Sys-Manage SHA1, SHA2, SHA3, MD4, MD5, RIPEMD160 Hash Tool

The Sys-Manage Hash tool calculates a file's MD4, MD5, RIPEMD160, SHA1, SHA2 or SHA3 hash.

It can also validate a file's hash against a known value to detect if a file is still the original version or if it has been modified.

The implementation for SHA2 and SHA3 includes all variants including 224, 256, 384 and 512 bit.

The tool is executed from the command line. It is available for x86 (32-bit), x64 (64-bit) and Itanium IA64 (64-bit).

We developed this tool, because the Microsoft FCIV.EXE tool to calculate checksums sometimes fails with a Crypto-API error 0x8009000b during CryptAquireContext, complaining about an invalid encryption key. FCIV.Exe is also limited to MD5 and SHA1 only.

This is hash.exe v1.2 (64-bit) hashing itself using SHA2-256 a.k.a. SHA256:
